I broke mine right near the part that screws into the wheel cylinder. I went to Advanced Auto Parts and they had an exact replacement! Cost $24 and had to mess a little with the clip that holds the fitting to the body, but it wasn't too bad.
The brake dust is from the brake pads, which wear over time from use, and release small particles which results in "Dust" it will usually just wash off with a garden hose.

No fixing that one, replace it with a new one.

I've had this problem on my 01 Escape and had to have the front brake hose replaced. According to the mechanic, Ford has had a lot of problems with these hoses. I'm replacing the rear hose tomorrow.
Either the caliper piston is frozen stuck or the hydraulic brake hose has collapsed internally. Open the bleeder on that caliper and see if the pressure releases, if it does you have a bad brake hose.
The hose goes from the diff to the frame, remove the two brake lines from the block on the diff, remove the mounting bolt, then disconnect the hose from the brake line at the frame. Install then bleed the brakes.
