I assume you mean a broken cornering light??
Open the hood, there is ONE screw and a mecahnical plastic pin than has to be jiggled out. The whole unit then will come out in your hand. If you are just replacing the bulb then you have to twist the bulb socket to remove it and the bulb for its replacement.
Anyhow be careful and the whole assembly will come out. Th epalstic pin I am talking about is sort of holding one end of the assembly between the metaal chssis and the assembly.
The 1983 Nissan Maxima is equipped with for flashers, one on each corner of the vehicle. The flasher relay switch is located beneath the dashboard in the passenger compartment.
You need to take the front tire off. What ever side it be the driver or passenger. Jack up the car a little take off the tire and then take off the plastic wheel well lining and then you can access any light. It's a pain in the butt.
remove the door panel, pull off the corner cover (it is held on by clips) and unbolt the window.
Spray wd40 down the column, its greese thats bhilt up, do it a couple of times and guarantee to work mine did not work for years. Up the top right hand corner.

I have the same issue- I am going to try and put some acquarium adhesive from the hardware store to put a semi-clear soft corner on the mirror- it is not broken much- very tiny chip broken off at the corner- but it is very sharp. I want to try and file it down and round it off but I am not sure I can without breaking the mirror.

the headlight haas four screw two on each side first you have to take the corner light off which is a Phillips screw after that light is off there is two 10-mm screw right their after that there is two more screws on the other side close two the radiator too the engine
Drop the tailgate, pull back the bed cover on the corner behind the break light you want to replace. There are bolts back there that hold the light in place. Undo those bolts and the light will come out easy. Replace and tighten bolts back and you are done. Very easy to do with some mechanical skills.
