REMOVAL PROCEDURE
Remove the engine cover.
Disconnect the spark plug wires at the ignition coils.
Disconnect the ignition coil harness connector.
Remove the ignition coil mounting bolts.
Remove the ignition coil.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Install the ignition coil to the bracket.
Install the ignition coil mounting bolts.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten
Tighten the ignition coil mounting bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in) .
Connect the ignition coil harness connector.
Connect the spark plug wires at the ignition coils.
Install the engine cover.

Remove the coil that is on top of the plug, then the plug.
remove the distributor cap remove the screws that attach the pick coil to the base of the distributor and replace in reverse order
The second spark plug is misfiring. Could be the coil right above the spark plug.
To replace a coil pack you will have to do a few steps. Start with disconnecting the battery cable, open hood, go to the coil pack, unplug the old one, plug in the new one, recharge the coil pack and then shut the hood.
Usually, replace the spark plugs and/or the #2 ignition coil.
unplug the unbolt, and replace them with ford expedition coil overs the same year.
