Open the bonnet, remove the scuttle cover, wiper motor, and finally blower motor.
It is possible that your wiper switch is bad. The switch can be cleaned with an aerosol switch cleaner if that does not work then replace it. Pls let me know how it goes Regards Ehi

Depending on whether its left or right hand drive it should be on the wall of the passenger side footwell.

I could be something as simple as a vacuum line off. I had overheating issues on my 1991 190E and found a vacuum check valve broken. Look near the passenger side of the engine.
