This is a fun one.
It is in the tank so you have to drop the fuel tank to get at it.
1)run it out of fuel
2)secure vehicle on jackstands as you will need the room
3)undo the straps going around the tank
4) drop it enough to disconnect your vent,pump wires and hoses
5)remove tank all the way and unbolt the round inspection hole
6) clean all the dirt off around it really good.
7) pull pump out and replace as a unit. back together in reverse order.
fill with gas Double check for leaks.

Pump is around $400. The dealer will want at least double that to do the whole thing. it will take them 3 hours and will probably take you 4-5 hours depending on your speed. It is pretty easy, just a bear doing it with fuel in it.
