There is no block heater on the s-series That is not right there was an option on the s series but like i said it was an option so.
Either replace the entire line, or find the break and fix it with a compression fitting.
Sometimes you have to remove the pump to get to the fitting on the pump.
See a Service manual or visit Saturnfans.com , or Automotiveforums.com
The heat exchanger is the most expensive part to replace in your heater. The recommended thing to do would be contact a professional and have it installed. Maintaining proper water chemistry is the key to not having to replace it again. I have seen them be ruined in less that a week due to improper balance. Find your owner's manual that came with the heater and they give explicit advice on taking care of your pool heater.
under your wipers is a the cover for the cabin air filter. under that is your blower simple removal and replace but the blower isn't cheap new
On that year of 5-series. Yes it would have to be the same year and series because the '89 525i has the M20 engine whereas the rest of the 5 series, '90 and up have the M50 engine. I had to replace the head gasket in my '89 525I and I installed a brand new head and cam since I had everything out of it. If you need a new head, contact me at 404-824-7233 and I can see what I can come up with for you.
Yes, the 3800 series motor is the best engine that GM has made for some time, it would be a wise choice to do so.
unless you can build a engine you need to take it to a mech. or replace the engine with a rebuilt one.
under the right side dash. you remove heater lower cover heater core right behind cover there are some hiden screws close to the fire wall good luck
I have a 2002 Chevy SilerRado 1500 Pick up Truck, 2 wheel drive. My broblem is with the heater not coming on. I checked the fuse Box on the drivers side of the dash board label HTR/COOLING. The fuse was ok. I would like to know how to locate the Heater Core and replace it if possible. I haven't checked the thermostat. thanks in advance
Probably not, you would need a new `K` Series engine as the internals for the engine will be in different places. Honda didnt just put an engine in the rover they also wired the entire car. The engine bays are both totally different. If you still wanted to do this a conversion would need to be done.
