I was able to replace the oil pan without pulling the engine. First I rented an engine host. I put the front of the truck on ramps. I disconnected both motor mounts and dropped the bell housing inspection cover. I the remove the oil filter bracket and in my case the oil cooler lines. I had to remove the bracket that the tranny lines go through. I also loosened up the supports on both sides of the engine to the bell housing. I put the engine on the hoist and raised the engine about 3 inches. Be careful not to crush the wires running up the back of the engine. Then you can remove all the oil pan bolts and with a little wiggling remove the pan. I made sure to clean the oil pump screen before installing a new gasket and oil pan.
