Simple at least for 2001 vintage. Just carefully pry of 4 way flasher button, (wrap something around screw driver so as not to mark button) and pry at top. Then using a small pair of needle nose pliers pull straight out and unplug connector. As a side note, if your problem is a clicking sound from flasher when signals not actually on try and spray a little contact cleaner in column near signal light switch and wait for it to evaporate. Bin there done that !
