Very easy job. Visit your auto-parts store first, get a thermostat ( they can tell you what temperature, etc..) make sure you purchase a gasket, and sealer that's sensor safe for newer vehicles.don't forget to pick up a gallon of coolant. You are gonna lose some. Ok trace the top hose from the radiator to the top of the engine. This is where the
thermostat lives, should be two bolts on the
housing, after you disconnect the hose from the top of the engine, remove the two bolts. You may have to carefully pry or tap the housing to break the seal. Remove thermostat noting orientation. Clean all mating surfaces with a plastic scraper of some sort, place new thermostat inside. use your gasket sealer on top of manifold and the
thermostat housing. Stick gasket onto maniflod lining up the bolt holes, place housing onto manifold replace bolts and torque to specs. It's probably aluminum so this step is a must unless you've done several. Replace hose. Fill with coolant, get up to operating temperature, purge air if it's a import, if it's a domestic (USA) it does it it's self. Check coolant again after it sits awhile. That's it.

depends on the thermostat normally 190 f
follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the engine. When you get to the end of the hose, that is the thermostat housing. remove it and the thermostat will be in there.
