How do you replace all fan belts?
on what type of vehicle
I believe that you have the VG30 engine, if this is true you have to remove all of the belts and to do that you must find all of the adjuster screws for the accessories that are attached to the appropiate belts and lossen the pivot bolts. once all other belts are removed you can begin replacing. my advice is to replace all the belts while you are there and save your self from the…
What is causing my fan to make a loud winding noise and the air not to come out very hard even all the way up?
First of all, they are the same as the fan belts on any other car. The fan belt(s) are the serpentine drive belt(s) that turn your fan and other accessories (like alternator, compressor, power steering) They are often referred to as serpentine belts, drive belts, and accessory drive belts. The are located on the outside of your engine, driven by the main pulley (crankshaft pulley). R. Mesyef
Facing towards my car I have a leak on the left side of the engine in my 1994 Honda Civic ExSi Coupe Is it my water pump that I need to replace?
How do you remove/replace a water pump on a 1996 Infiniti J30? Remove radiator hoses. Remove induction tubing for the air filter. Remove the fan and all belts. Remove timing belt cover. Remove and replace thermostat at same time as pump. The water pump is BEHIND the timing belt. The timing belt will need replacing at this time to obtain access to the pump. I tried to replace mine on the side of the road…
There is no special procedure for replacing the water pump. You will have to remove the belts, fan at a minimum. To make the job easier it is recommended that you remove the radiator. It is also wise to service all consumable parts at that time with genuine Toyota parts: Hoses, coolant, thermostat & belts.
The only meaningful answer to your question must come from the person who wants to sell the fan belt to you. This forum does not support retail activities. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just had the belts changed and it ran me a bill of 854 at the dealer
there should only be one belt so stare hard at it and draw a map of how the belt is routed around all the pulleys then use a ratchet or wrench to turn the belt tensioner the correct way slip the belt off then replace according to your diagram There are two belts serpetine belt and one that runs the air conditioner. The air conditioner belt can be found on passenger side look under front…
you should have three belts total. Going from the fan towards the distributer the first belt should be the power steering, then the actual fan belt, then the third belt is the alternator / a/c belt, i hope this is helpful for you! So for the answer to your question, there is one fan belt, the second belt in from the fan!
What all would need to be replace if you have to replace anything to swap an automatic to a 5 speed in a 2004 KIA spectra?
had same car. electrical problem. check fuses, and relay connections, then check all clip connections for fan. if all are good, it prob. needs a new fan unit. my suggestion is if the car is overheating and fan will not move, and belts are all fine, i mean the rotors turn. then its the electric fan motor. go to a salvage yard first b4 the dealer.
