Inside the alternator.
power window motor removal 93 sunbird
lokks to be on the lower right side of engine
Maty be a plugged catalytic converter
If it is still in the same place as a '93, it is behind (near the connections of) the Battery.
you dump rite down the dipstick tube
I just replaced the thermostat and gave the coolant system a flush and replaced the prestone. Seems to have done the job.
Check the voltage level from the alternator. Overvoltage is about the only thing that can "fry" a battery. If the voltage is much above 14.5 V, the regulator INSIDE the alternator has failed. The only choice is to replace the alternator.
Best way to fix it is to replace it.I had not the correct tool or even knew what the correct tool is and took the car to a shop to replace the Timing belt and Water pump. The shop folk replaced my supplied Drivebelt Tensioner at no additional charge since as they said "We're gonna be in the area anyways".
Fenders are the same. The hood will bolt on....but there is a design difference in the style of the hoods. As far as the grill and headlight area....these are different. But if you have everything from the donor car then yes...you can bolt it all up. In other words, a Cavalier headlight setup won't fit with a Sunbird grill. You have to swap it all over.
There is no pollen filter on any sunbird the oldest GM product to get one is a 1993 Cadillac
It is cheaper to replace the heater core than it is repair it
Fuel pump, blown fuel pump fuse, fuel filter clogged, fuel pressure regulator, or defective ECU.
no, you should be able to replace it with out disassembling the whole starter....
I don't know about a 93, but my 94"s is located at the exhaust manifold, just below the spark plugs. You have to remove the wire first, then use the same type of socket you'd use to remove a spark plug.
AnswerI have a 93 sunbird. The thermostat is located right under the radiator cap. Wait for the car to cool down. remove the radiator cap. you will see an aluminum bar pull the bar out and that is your thermostat. top off the coolant before installing the new thermostat. put the new thermostat in. push on it a little bit to make sure you get a good seal and then replace the radiator cap. That is all there is to it. the thermostat on these cars is really easy to change and i have done it several times.
There are many parts to a car that must be maintained. This problem can be caused by a bad fuel pump, filter, or fuel injectors.Ê
Are you kidding me?
Most likely it is a fan motor that is pulling too much amperage. I'd start with the fan motor and/or the fan motor resistor.
It's built into the alternator, you will have to tear the alternator apart to replace it or do as most people do and buy a new alternator.
What about 1993 Pontiac drum brakes, please be specific.
32mm or 36mm
you have to disconnect the hoses first that are on the firewall it is best to go at it from under the car. Then after you have disconnected the hoses you need to remove both panels under the dash and you will see it from there as it is step by step
Assuming it's a 4 cylinder, it's buried way up behind the back of the block and REALLY not a lot of fun to change because you need eight inch fingers with four knuckles to reach one of the bolts.
not sure about on a 93. But mine 94 2.o has it on the left (driver side) wheel panel inside the hood. it is screwed into the side panel right before the battery.
