The head, or top part of the motor, must be removed to replace valve seals. After the head is removed take it to a machine shop and they will mill the head to make sure it is flat and also grind down the valves and replace the valve seals.

An automotive expansion valve can be tested by putting it in ice water. The sudden drop in temperature will cause a valve that is working properly to close. If the valve s faulty it will remain open.

On the 2.8 it's on top of the plenum at the back. disconnect the hose & unscrew the pcv valve & replace.

yes and the transmission too is recomended..... These trans are not so reliable and if there's lower miles on the 2000 you should swap out the entire rig

Remove the wiring harness from your 2000 Dodge Stratus EGR valve. Remove the EGR valve retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new EGR valve.
Using the diagnostic tool that reads the engine codes, clear out the codes and try reading it again. I had the same problem on my 97 geo metro. If the answer above didn't help, replace the O2 sensors, and retry the above answer.
