1987-1995 Lebaron convertable top up/down switch is located on the console. On earlier models, It may be in the same location.
possibly the up solonoid located in the trunk attached to the convertable top motor.
There is a solonoid on the starter and the ignition switch is on the steering column.
Your key switch contact inside the ignition switch cylinder may be stuck closed. You may need to replace the switch or the ignition key cylinder. On a Ford and GM, the contact is replaceable without the ignition switch, but requires the steering wheel removed to replace it. Not sure what is required for the Lebaron, but it is not a major task to do for a mechanic.
You cant.....must replace switch cluster. [EDIT: Not true- see the related link.]
A Chrysler LeBaron does not have a reset switch. The fuel pump is controlled by the engine computer with relays.
you have a short in light switch replace light switch
to replace the switch u will need the key to the old ignition switch. its as simple as getting a t15 bits to take off the steering colum and unscrewing the switch i think the bit size is t25 and you need a special bit with a hole in the center of it. you take off the steering wheel column covers.
Drierside under car. Up on left front of transmission case. Transmission pressure switch. If it doesnt see transmission fluid pressure the car will not start.
A Chrysler Sebring does not have a reset switch.
The convertible top motor relay switch has gone bad. A new switch is only about 30 dollars, if the switch isn;'t the problem, you will need a new motor. The convertible top motors often burn out due to 15 years of wear and tear, they overheat and cannot produce enough power to raise the top.
