To replace the bulb in your side mirror on your 2001 Expedition. Which bulb?
Hi, I just did mine on an expedition. There are two flat retaining clips that hold the front plastic cap on the assembly. Move the mirror to its full inward position. Then you can reach in with a flat screw driver and lift up the one clip. Tilt the mirror to the other full extreme then you can reach in and free the other clip. With the top two free, the bottom slides out and you have access to the bulb.

You replace them by first putting the mirror in the down position. Now look between the mirror and you will see two tabs(the same color as your truck) take a screw driver and lift them up.
