The same as any other motor. Knock the old one out, clean the hole with some sandpaper and drive the new one in. You may have to remove a motor mount, or exhaust so that you can get a straight shot at it. There are two in the back of the block that require you to either pull the motor or the transmission to get to them. The plug is easy, getting to it can be a real pain.

What is a 1965 ford galaxie 500 with a 460 motor worth?

That car didn't come with a 460 engine. They had the 289 ci, 390 ci and the 427 ci engine available in 1965. If it has the 427 ci engine it could be worth in a low retail situation $3,475. Average retail $10,300 and in a high retail situation $13,350. It's all about condition and factory options.

What is the spark plug gap for a 289 windsor?

Ford didn't produce a 289 Windsor. EDIT: Actually.... The Windsor is the Ford small block V8 engine family, so yeah they actually did produce a 289 Windsor. People usually don't refer to it as a Windsor though since there wasn't an alternate 289 ci displacement engine, such as with the 351 (Cleveland and Modified, which are big blocks). Windsor just designates the Ford family of small blocks. And sorry, I know all that is irrelevant to your question. I just wanted to correct misinformation. The plug gap for a 289 is .034

Is a Ford 4.6L v8 the same as a Ford 289 ci v8?

The Ford 4.6 litre V8 engine is a Single Over Head Cam engine ( 281 cubic inches ) where the old 289 cubic inch V8 is an Over Head Valve / pushrod design engine ( so the answer would be no )

What are stages of combustion in CI engines?

Intake, compression, power/combustion, exhaust. Same as a standard SI (Spark Ignition) CI (Combustion Ignition) is how diesel operates. They contain no spark plugs. The compression heats the fuel to the point of SELF COMBUSTION .
