the plastic shield that covers the bulbs has screws that you can access with no trouble at all.
Most of the cars now have composite lights and the lights have to be revomed to replace the bulbs.
The bulbs are replaceable behind the lens, so the lens (two screws for the front and 4 for the back) must be removed to change the bulbs.
To access the bulbs, you need to remove the fender well liner and the nut and disconnect the electrical connector.
could be the front or rear bulb has blown out. if you have already changed one of these bulbs, be sure to replace it with the proper size
To replace front parking light on a 1999 Ford Taurus, lift the hood and remove the bolt holding the parking light housing cover. Twist the parking light off and replace with a new one.
To replace the bulbs in a 1997 Acura safely prop the hood open. Locate the front headlights and remove the old lights. Replace the bulbs.
Front or back?
If all you're trying to do is change the bulbs, they can be accessed (barely) through the plastic doors in front of the tires. Pain in the rear to get to, but you can twist the sockets to pop them loose from the housing and replace the bulbs.
Remove the black plastic, it will be held in by several clips. Pull up on the center of the clip, to re-install, just replace and push. You have to reach behind the headlight to reach around to the bulbs, they are tucked in there right on the side.

Front signal bulbs on a RSX are changed from the engine bay. Find the lightbulbs for the signal bulbs located towards the bumper of the vehicle. Pull them out and replace them.
