First you loosen the axel nut before anything else while the wheel is still touching the ground or you will have a very hard time later on. Then jack up your car and take your wheel off. Unscrew the brake caliper and the caliper clip, secure it so not to rip or cut the hydraulic line with brake fluid. Now you can take off the disk sometimes it get rusted on so you can use a rubber hammer to bust it off. Now on the left hand side of your hub assembly your steering arm comes in, you can unscrew it and the trick to taking it off is to hit the side of the hub right where steering joint comes in with a metal hammer very hard that will loosen it up for you and then just take it off. There will be two nuts and one bolt on the lower ball joint for 12 or 13mm unscrew them it should be pretty easy, it makes no sense of taking off the ball joint unless you want to change it too. we are almost done here. Now where the shock absorber sits is called a strut "for the noobs" and the hub assembly sits on the strut connected 2 19mm bolts and 2 19mm nuts on the other side unscrew them and take off your hub. Now you can go to Napa and by the bearings if you haven't already and they will press them in for you for like 10 bucks. The bearings them selves cost around 15 dollars but if they are in horrible condition I would replace both of the races along with the bearings it comes in one piece around 55 dollars but it is very well worth it for another 100,000 miles. Best of luck to you and anybody who was looking to change there bearings as well. Hopefully you have another car to get around on while your Tercel is on the jacks.
