Start the car and then pull fuse #11. Let the car run till it dies (relieves fuel pressure) then turn the key to the off position. Next disconnect the battery ground then pull up the rear seat. Disconnect the electrical connections to the pump and fuel level sender. Disconnect the fuel lines and remember where they go. Undo the fuel level sender and pull it out; it's in the middle of the pump carriage and must come out first. Undo the bolts holding the carriage being careful not to drop the seal into the tank. Pull out the carriage and fuel pump. Installation is the reverse of removal.
