I am facing the same problem with my 2003 Beetle. Some have suggested drilling a smail (1/16") hole in the slider and using an awl to move the slider lock up. Others on a model year I don't recall, removed the assembly to get into the slider lock assembly. Good luck!

You must replace the adjuster with a new one. That means the headlight assembly must first be removed the adjuster replaced and headlight beam adjusted so it si even with the side that is not broken.
I had to drill a small hole below the location of the plastic hook that broke off. I sprayed a little wd-40 inside the track and with an awl and plyers i was able to slide the track down and remove the unit. reverse the process to install. Good Luck
Removal of Headlight lens requires a special tool to release the snaps located on the inner body rim. The first time I tried it (without the tool) I broke the snaps and had to replace the entire assembly. Remember the lens assembly has to be waterproof/weather resistant, so any cracks will lead to failure of the headlight element. My advice (if this is your first change) is to take it to the dealer and hover over the mechanic, asks multiple questions and go find the tool to purchase. Believe me, it's worth the money and eliminates the aggravation of dealing with an impossible front end design.
You can tell if your window regulator is broken on a Volkswagen Beetle when you hear a big clunk as it goes down.
your local junkyard or try a dealer
We had the same problem. We had to remove door panel and replace rivet which holds the lifter arm with a screw. The rivet broke when one person was trying to open the door at the same time someone was trying to unlock it.
cuz there broke.. try flasher or turn signal
you can go to the dealer and buy a harness, make sure you match the wires correctly or you will end up with mismatched beams
Replace it with a new one.
Replace it with a new one.
Try looking at the other headlight plug
Not unless you Purchase insurance.
