Passenger side, near the firewall. It is not difficult to replace, it is just very difficult to get to.
the wire is bare how do you replace the wire with out removing the dashboard on a 1993 Chevrolet corsica?
located in the fuel tank of a 1992 corsica ,it may be the same for your model if this is so you may need to drop the tank . I would notadvice you to take on this job unless you have to.
Most likely it is right behind the gas tank. Just unbolt it at both ends and then bolt the new one on.
behind the glove compartment inside the heater assy
follow the 2 hoses that go into the firewall-drivers side hose should be the heater core--on the 95 T100 it is located behind the controls for the heat and air--
The heater core is just below the top of the dash, below the A/C condensor behind the radio. You will need a manual, and a good aftermarket heater core of 100% aluminum. The factory one is half plastic that is why the plastic tube(s) broke coming out of the firewall and dumped coolant behind the engine. Jake McCahn
To replace your heater core on a 1993 caprice, you will need a screwdriver, a socket wrench, and a weather seal adhesive.

Very hard.
It's tough for an amateur. The heater core is inside behind the console.
