Not easily. You can put a new coax end on the cable though and that should solve your problem. You can do it the hard way and somehow ground the metal shield that is left on the cable as that is the main function of the shield. (but not the only)

just been there with my 89'. you have to take the sensor box off of the top of the steering wheel, via 4 bolts that use the hex keys. they after there you can remove the cable from the back of the speed sensor and work it through your fire wall through the engine compartment, depending on what type of engine you have, my 2.8L v6 it connected to the transmission when looking from the front of the truck, was at the front left of the tranny. very easy to replace/break, so have fun :) CrazyAZIN

my 04 navigator has a yellow pull tab over the passenger side headlight that you pull to the side (left side if youre looking at it from front). after you pop the hood open from the inside go to the front passenger side of hood / over headlight, pull yellow tab to left and pop hood open.' good luck!
The color of the cable in the bottom left side of a plug is typically black.
Take the cover off, there's no oil in it. Inside is a small rotating arm where the clutch cable is retain. A small tab holds it in place, bend it just enough to remove the original cable & replace it with the new cable, bending the tab back in place. The longest part of the job is removing the bolts.
