For the upper motor mount replacement-Passenger Side-support engine with a jack,careful where you put the jack head so as not to bend and damage anything,don't put it under the oil pan!.Take out the bolts in the motor mount that go into the engine block,Lower engine just an inch or so with the jack,then take out the one bolt in the middle of the motor mount where the rubber is.Put in new motor mount and reverse these instructions to install. You may have to wiggle things around with the jack and your hands to get the bolts to start threading and line up when you are going back in with the new motor mount.

There is no fixing a broken motor mount. Replace them with a new ones.

Begin by loosening the motor mount retaining bolt in your 1993 Geo Metro. Jack the engine up a few inches. Remove the retaining bolt and the motor mount bushing. Put the new bushing in and reverse the process.
It is as simple as removong 2 bolts and replacing the mount. Goodluck, JOe

Four: front (close to middle of car from right to left); rear (again middle, but near firewall); front passenger side (top of engine, near belts; driver's side near left side of transmission. The driver's side may be called a Transmission Mount or a Motor/Transmission mount.
A motor mount for a 93 Escort with an automatic transmission sells for aprox $25.
