There is no such thing as a 2002 Jeep Cherokee. The last year was 2001.There is a Torx (Star) bolt on top of the headlight pretty much in the middle of the light. There's only one for each headlight. Remove that bolt, then pull the lights forward. It takes some effort, but they're only held in with clips and they'll pop out. It might help to start by prying at the bottom of the light. Hope this helps.

ask in automotive for car stuff, but in general there are two screws holding the lens cover on, just take them off, turn the bulb to the left, remove it and put it back. if you see no screws or clips from the outside then you will get to it via the inside of the trunk lid, just turn the whole assembly of the light to the left and it should come out and allow you to replace the bulb, or if you see clips, depress the clips and pull and it should come out
