2006 Cadillac DTS bulb replacement: Purchase the correct replacement bulb(s) first, before disassembling the vehicle. See sources and related links below for replacement bulb information. Then consult your owner's manual for the replacement procedure. As simple as it sounds, the owner's manual is the best place to start for bulb replacement instructions. You may want to consider replacing both left and right at the same time in order to keep brightness and color equal (optional).

It has been my experience that a rapid turn signal indicates there is a burnt-out signal light bulb (either front or rear) on the side of the rapid blinking signal. If the right signal is blinking rapidly, the problem is in the signal lights for the right side (front or rear) of the vehicle. Turn the rapid signal on and step out of the vehicle to find which bulb is not lighting.

More than likely you have a burnt out bulb at the front signal light, rear signal light, or brake light on the right side.

Answer 1: You may need to replace the bulb. Answer 2: In my experience it indicates that one (front or rear) of the right turn signal bulbs has blown and needs replaced. If it blinks normal speed with the left turn signal then it's not likely to be the flasher relay. Hope this helps.

Replace the blown bulb in the front or rear of the car. The reason it won't blink is because it is a courtesy warning telling you that you have an inoperative bulb. Check/replace the front and rear right turn signal bulbs and check it again. It should clear up your problems.
