First, raise the vehicle just a little and loosen the lug nuts and the locking axle nut. After that is done secure the vehicle on jack stands and remove the wheel and locking nut, after that remove the two bolts that connect the steering knuckle to the shock part of the suspension. If the part is to be used again make sure to do this next step, place the axle nut slightly avobe the axle shaft and tap it out from the hub with a hammer. Once all that is done go under the car and on the motor mount there is a small screw take that out to release the axle bering and also take off a snap ring that holds ithe bearing to the mount, once that. Is all removed pull on the shaft and I t should come off. There is a chance that the bearing might be rusted in the mount so be ready to do other things such as removing the motor mount to be able to release the bearing, or just use a whole. Lot of lube. Good luck.

Correction: Shaft will not pull out of engine mount. This is a press fit.
