It will come out of the engine compartment through the top in the left rear corner as you are looking from the front. You will have to take a wiring harness loose and bend a little metal piece up that was holding the wiring harness. It's a tight fit but it will come out. You do not have to take out the pivot bolt just loosen it up and then it lifts straight up out of the bracket it slides through. I found that to be the hardest. If you remove the right front tire and the plastic housing in the wheel well you can get to the bracket easier.
