The sensor is in the near side wing mirror If you look at the bottom of the mirror you can see it
It is located at the backside of the motor block. You will need to a mirror to see it less to remove the engine.

Apart from that you are stuck with a very poor quality immobilizer from Renault. If its any conselation,there are loads of Renault drivers in same position. Hope this helps.
hi thereprise the mirror glass out and remove the outer casing and also remove the backing, there are 2 small screws at the bottom of the mirror remove them and replace the lens, dont worrie about which way you connect the mirror glass electrics as it is a curcuit,good luck
