Remove assembly, held in with four Philips screws (two inside, two outside the payload). Remove the wires connector. Then twist the bulb assembly connector to remove. Replace 3157 bulb. Reverse procedure. If you do not reinsert the bulb assembly first, before you attach the wires connector, the assembly will be too large to insert and twist correclty. It takes just a few minutes to do the whole thing.

Remove screws on either end of light housing. Remove brake light. Remove bulb. Using a cloth, place new bulb in socket. Replace brake light. Attach screws. bulb cost approx. $2.00 for a two pack of bulbs, beats having the dealer do it and charge you an arm and a leg :)

THAT IS USUALLY AN INDICATION OF A BURNED BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH. SWITCH IS USUALLY LOCATED ON THE BRAKE PEDAL ITSELF. DISCONECTED AND IF THE LIGHTS GO OUT YOU HAVE FOUND YOUR PROBLEM , SIMPLY REPLACE IT.
