Slide master cylinder off activating rod MAKE SURE THAT REPLACEMENT MASTER CYLINDER IS BENCH BLED PRIOR TO INSTALLATION Reverse procedure to install
There are two 13mm bolt in front of the brake pedal. Remove those, brake fluid supply lines and the lines that feed the front and rear brakes and it will slide out toward the front. The brake rod will stay attached to the brake pedal and can be removed by removing the clip on the brake pedal.
Also be aware that they are a double wall firewall and there is a spacer tube to keep the bolt holes from collapsing in when you tighten the bolts. If you take the bolts out put a nail, screwdriver or any thing to keep the spacers from falling down. Just push the bolts out with the nails and the nail will keep the spacers in the right area. Then push the nail out with the bolt. You may have to wiggle them a bit.

I am 99% positive that your Malibu does not have a cam belt, but instead has a cam chain. Look in your owner's manual or call your local Chevy dealer to be 100% sure.

Was that the only code that caused you to replace it? Do you have it close enough to sense again.
Sometimes if you take your serial number from your truck into a GM or Chevy dealership they can make you a new key for your truck. It might cost a little but it is cheaper than changing your key barrels.
Replace the master cylinder.
Disconnect the electrical connection Disconnect and plug brake lines Remove mounting bolts from the power brake booster pull master cylinder out Replace in reverse order BENCH BLEED NEW MASTER CYLINDER BEFORE INSTALLING

The clutch master cylinder on a Chevy S10 is replaced by disconnecting the metal lines, unscrewing the retaining bolts, and removing it from the housing. A new master cylinder can then be put into place and reattached.
Which part do you want to replace? The slave cylider or the master cylinder? The hydraulic line and master cylinder.

You can't, there is no adjustment. Time to replace clutch, slave cylinder or clutch master cylinder. 1 of the 3.
From the inside of the vehicle disconnect the clutch pedal arm. Take off the master cylinder retaining nuts. From under the hood disconnect the lines. The cylinder should slide out.
