The gauge assy has to be taken out and the printed circuit can be damaged very easily. I suggest taking it to a garage.

Remove the screws and clips on the dashboard. tilt the lower steering column carefully an slide out the dash unit. You should be able to see a set of bulbs and the one for the odometer is at the center. Remove and replace with a new one.
