If it has a distributor:

1. Take the ignition wires off the plugs and mark them 1 2 3 and 4.

2. Pop the cap off leaving the wires in it.

3. At the base of the distributor there is a single bolt holding it in. Mark the position of the rotor before you pull it out.

4. Lift the distributor out.

5. When replacing it make sure the rotor is in the correct position.

6. Do the reverse of these steps to put one back in.
