The fuel pump is located in the gas tank. You must remove the cover that protects the gast tank and then the tank itself. Make sure you disconnect the fuel lines going into the fuel pump when dropping the tank. There is little slack. Once tank is down, remove fuel pump and replace with new. The fuel pump is an entire housing unit about 1' tall and 5" in diameter. It also has the fuel gauge sensor on it, so if you have been having problems with your gas gauge, this will be fixed as well.
Always replace the fuel filter when replacing the fuel pump module.
