break the hub nut loose. raise car and remove wheel. disconnect the damper fork from the shock absorber assembly and the lower control arm. separate the lower control arm from the steering knuckle. remove the hub nut and swing the knuckle/hub assembly out until the end of the driveaxel is free of the hub (you may need to use a puller to push the axel thru the hub). carefully pry the driveaxel from the half shalt using a large screwdriver or prybar positioned betweenbearing support and the cv joint housing. remove the bearing support bracket bolts (3) where it bolts to the engine. slide the half shaft from the transaxel.
