How do you replace the headlight bulb located on a 1990 Honda Civic?

First, unhook the wires leading to the bulb. There's a clip on the back of the white plastic part that you can press in with your thumb as you wiggle it downward to release.
The next step is to turn the black ring counter-clockwise approx. 1/4 turn. I couldn't move mine by hand, I had to resort to placing a screwdriver blade into one of the notches around the ring and banging on it with a hammer a few times to loosen it up.
Once the ring turns, it's the bulb on the inside that can be pulled out, the ring stays put. Take out the old bulb, put in a new one, and turn the ring back clockwise until it clicks. Then re-attach the wires.
