This is for the passenger side headlight assembly. The driver's side is has a plastic cover that must be removed first, so the setup underneath may or may not be different... Remove the three 10mm hex bolts from the top of the headlight assembly holding it to the vehicle. The middle bolt has a bracket connecting it to the vehicle by a fourth hex bolt, which you may need to loosen to move the bracket out of the way. Pull the headlight assembly forward until you can access the bulbs. They can be removed from the assembly by a quarter turn, then unclip the faulty bulb and replace.

If it's the same as a 96 Pontiac Grand AM GT, than you would need a 10mm socket and rachet there are three bolts on top of headlight remove these and just pull out headlight. Disconnect the wire going to the bulb you want to replace.

Open the hood and there are screws on both sides loosen then move flaps and pull light backwards until you can get to the bulb.
