Depending on wether you talking about the light bulb retainer of the head light assembly (to include the lens)you probably need to remove the air filter box on one side and possibly the battery on the other. The head lamp bulb is held in either by a rubber boot with a metal wire that you pinch to release or a twist off. If you need to remove the entire headlight assembly you need to remove the turn signal lens first which is a snap fit take a thin flat screwdriver inside a shop rag, insert between rear of lens and fender, and gently pry forward in a rocking motion until it pops free then rest of the assembly is fastened with visible 10mm bolts and Phillips screws. Do Not Move the adjusting screws on the new assembly as the should be preset.
