You do not need to completely remove the dashboard in order to change the heater core. Remove the water hoses from the heater core. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new heater core.
i need to know how to replace the heater core on my 1992 s-10 pickup
In the same manner as replacing the heater core. The complete dash assembly must be removed. Big job.
The entire dash assembly needs to be removed to gain access to the heater core. I would recomend purchasing a shop manual for that vehicle if you decide to do the job yourself.
Yes.
The 1996 GMC half ton pickup truck heater core can be removed by removing the heater core retaining bolts. Remove the heater core water lines. Reverse the process to install the new heater core.

The 1994 Toyota pickup heater relay location can be found in the fuse block number 3. The fuse block is located above the glove box and can be seen when the glove box is removed.
You should probably bring it to a mechanic because it is very difficult to replace the heater core on GMC pickups.
15 to 30 minutes.
theres no easy way dash have to come out.
Get a manual on your car to do the job right.
Technically, Yes.But you can removed the heater core without removing the HVAC unit and the AC Lines if you cut the old heater core lines at the top with a hack saw. Then the core will slide straight up and out of the HVAC unit. The new heater core has swivel mounted hoses that can be placed in the old positions when reassembling the dash.Yes you will need to completely drain the freon system to replace the heater core and do not cut the case, this will destroy the a/c and heater housing and you will have a water leak on the passengers side that you will not be able to stop.........
