Everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and a professional shop manual should be available at your local library for diagnostic procedures etc, just make copies of the right pages, as they are usually REFERENCE only...read up and good luck :)
Under the dash, up high, to the right of the steering column
connects to throttle body(port C )
Assuming you have a distributor (my 1989 does), remove the console and doghouse, the distributor cap is the round component at the back of the engine on top that has either 7 or 9 wires on it depending on wether you have the 6 or 8 cylinder engine, the wire in the center leads to the ignition coil which should be very close to the distributor cap. I have also seen where the coil is installed on the top of the distributor cap so in this case there would not be a wire leading to it but I think this configuration is on older models. Disconnect the battery, remove the coil and replace.
I have a 1992 Vandura and the dash brake light stays on when the brake fuse is blown. Check and replace the brake fuse if it is blown. My ABS sensor light comes on and stays on sometimes because I changed my brakes and didn't bleed the ABS system,There was still air in the line. I bled all brakes countless times, but neglected to bleed the ABS system. I own a 93' vandura....love machine
There are multiple V-belts in the engine compartment. Different engine components use different lengths. A/C, power steering etc.
You may need to check the wiring in the system and replace the circuit that runs the wipers. You may also want to replace the arms and blades.
there are actually 3 fuses ( that i have found) 2 are in the fuse panel below and to the left of the steering column marked ac and auxilary ac/heat. my 1993 g3500 vandura also has an inline 20 amp fuse wired in between the fuse panel and the rear blower motor switch.
The ECM on the Vandura 2500 is under the Driver's seat.
mine is located straight down from the brake booster.....follow the brake lines coming off the master cylinder....should lead you right to the valve you are looking for
My 93' vandura has a 5.7 liter 350cubic inch engine.
