"Leave it to the pros" was the answer I got when calling my associates about this very same issue. Replacing the intake manifold gasket requires several tools including a torque wrench and lots of disassembly. You need to take apart parts around it as well as the part itself. If you know little about cars as I do, expect it to take a weekend to get this done once you have the proper instructions. Save yourself the time and pain. It ain't like changing your oil.
