1. Remove the physical key from the fob
2. Use a coin in the slight coin shaped indentation, to twist and open the case
3. Replace the battery, with a new CR2032 battery, noting the orientation of the battery.
4. Align the case halves together, taking care not to lose or dislodge the 'Panic' button pushbutton cover piece (it is loose, not attached to the rest of the case).
5. Snap the case back together like the original.
6. Task completed - test.
First guess; the battery is dead. If you replace the battery and that doesn't solve the problem, you may need to have the dealer reprogram the remote for your lock code.
Its the same as honda civics. It a series of turning the ignition key off and on while pushing button on the remote. Im sure you can look that up as it's more common
On your keyless entry remote hold down the panic button and trunk button at the same time till the remote light flashes. Then the "beep beep" of the alarm will sound when locking and unlocking your car.

My super sport toyota Camry does that and we had to replace the ground to the battery
