There is no back light for the clock. The clock numbers are actually LED's - there is no way to replace them - the entire clock will have to be replaced.
To change the brake light bulb on a 1999 Honda Passport find the light housing located in the trunk. Find the plastic covers for the lights and remove them. Pull the bulbs out carefully and replace them.

Honda
remove trim, remove clock, remove clock light harness, and remove and replace clock light bulbs
The clock light is an integral part of the clock and is not replacable by itself
Yes it does. The license plate light fuse on a 2001 Honda Passport shares the same fuse as the rest of the rear lights.
You cannot replace the clock 'light' on an older CR-V since there is no bulb. It is an L.C.D. (liquid crystal diode) unit which, if it fails, must be replaced.
pop that console out with a knife or key and then the bulb is a small twist out you'll have to find in a store or online
You have to take off the entire dash, which simply consists of a few screws. It's a pain for one tiny lightbulb. :)

there is no fuse . you have to replace the light bulb by opening the clock.
