What makes you think you need an oil pump? If the oil pressure is low or zero (the ULTIMATE low) it's most likely worn main and/or rod bearings. But to answer your question:
Drop the oil pan, it may involve lifting the engine or removing cross-members. The oil pump comes out with either 2 or 3 bolts, depending on the engine. It should just fall out into your hand.
Put the dip tube on the new oil pump, along with whatever o-rings and gaskets are necessary, pour a little clean motor oil into the new pump so that it doesn't start up dry, then put the new oil pump into place and tighten it all down.
Clean off the oil pan and put a new gasket set in place and put the pan back on the engine and put cross-members, engine mounts and whatever else you had to disconnect back into place.
