I just changed the O2 sensor on my 1994 4runner, 4WD automatic, and it's pretty easy. It's located on the exaust pipe, right in front of the catalytic converter. Simply unplug the sensor(right there at the pipe), and unscrew the two nuts. Clean off the old gasket, and replace. You don't even have to jack up the truck. Only problem is, the old nuts were pretty rusty, so I hade to use alot of penetrating oil, a grider(to flatten the sides of the nuts), and a pair of vice grips. Don't destroy the threaded studs, and buy some new nuts.

Yes, one O2 sensor and it's on the exhaust manifold. It has two nuts that hold it on and has a connector which unplugs to replace it.
