Need a coil spring compressor or access to one and some basic hand tools. Go to the library and get a repair manual if possible, that will at least get u a basic knowledge of what u are looking at. then, u will need to find out if u have the rebuildable strut or sealed strut. if strut is part of the spindle, u will need the rebuildable unit. if strut comes off of the spindle, u have the sealed type. when u are ready to perform the changeover, make sure u have proper tools, jack stands, floor jack, and use the buddy system, be safe. My recommendation is to take to a shop and have performed for u. Good luck
