The rear turn signal on the 2009 328i is an array of LEDs and isn't a single bulb which can be replaced.
The whole assembly needs to be switched out.

simple, there is an access panel in the front wheel wells of the BMW 328i.just take the access panel off. there's a tab that you have to twist to get the bulb off. there are no wires coming from the bulb, just the tab that needs to be turned. avoid touching the new bulb with your fingers as they contain oil, which will cause the bulb to burn out prematurely.:-)
