To replace the sidelight of the C8 you need to access the bulb through the HEADLIGHT DIPPED BEAM plastic protector. According to the owners handbook you could be easily mistaken into thinking that the indicator protector access point is used - but by removing this you will only find the indicator bulb! The HEADLIGHT DIPPED BEAM plastic protector is the largest of the protectors - twist it approx an 8th rotation and it will slide off. Now the tricky bit! Slide your hand up into the light unit from the back - you will need to feel around for the sidelight bulb holder (use an inspection mirror first if you have one - to try and give yourself an idea of what you are trying to feel for and to make you aware of where all the wires are) you should be able to see your fingers through the top of the headlight unit as its not buried deep in the unit - feel around gently at this point - it is connected with a couple of wires and it needs to be twisted out - twisting out is the difficult bit - once you have located the bulb holder you need to twist it a quarter turn - its quite hard to twist so be patient and try to get as much grip on it as possible - you will probably not be able to grip it between your fingers due to its location - but with dry fingers you should be able to get it to turn - when turned - it will be released and you can gently pull the bulb holder out. Replace the bulb and then reverse your previous actions to get it back in place and twisted back in again. Good luck!

How do you change a left indicator bulb on a citroen c8?

You need to first remove the power lead to the light cluster so that it gives you better hand access. Then twist the butterfly cap behind the indicator bulb until it clicks. This contains the bulb.Replace bulb, then replace butterfly cap and power lead. You may have to thread your left arm around the jack housing to get your hand in behind the light cluster as its a bit tight in there.

How do you change the headlamp bulb on a citroen c8?

Found the easy way in the end was to fix a mirror to the bulwark or whatever part of the engine compartment was behind the headlight unit. It will depend on whatm odel C8 you have be it petrol or diesel. I used Blue Tack to fix the mirror in place. Once mirror is in place you unscrew the headlight cover and you will be able to see the bulb unit clearly which is held in place by a spring clip. press the spring clip till it unclips from the back of the bulb and move it to one side. you now have access to the bulb. take it out and replace it with the new bulb working in reverse order of the above method to fix it securley in place. then put on the cover and turn it till it locks into place. Job done. Hope this helps!
