Found the easy way in the end was to fix a mirror to the bulwark or whatever part of the engine compartment was behind the headlight unit. It will depend on whatm odel C8 you have be it petrol or diesel.
I used Blue Tack to fix the mirror in place.
Once mirror is in place you unscrew the headlight cover and you will be able to see the bulb unit clearly which is held in place by a spring clip.
press the spring clip till it unclips from the back of the bulb and move it to one side.
you now have access to the bulb.
take it out and replace it with the new bulb working in reverse order of the above method to fix it securley in place.
then put on the cover and turn it till it locks into place.
Job done.
Hope this helps!
wot is the fuse box layout on a citroen c8 namley the heater blower fuse

8.80h @ autodata But trust me you don't wan't to change it on it's own :) just take it to mechanic :)
under the steering wheel in the cubby hole at the top,
Chances are is that the lower bolt is hidden out of sight by the bumper which would need removing in order to gain access to it, not clever! but i don't ever recall seeing anyone having to remove the bumper to change a bulb (not even on c5's which are awkward), generally a bit of cursing is involved but I'm pretty sure they're accessible with out removing the headlight (a small mirror & a torch will help see into the back of the headlight unit).
You need to first remove the power lead to the light cluster so that it gives you better hand access. Then twist the butterfly cap behind the indicator bulb until it clicks. This contains the bulb.Replace bulb, then replace butterfly cap and power lead. You may have to thread your left arm around the jack housing to get your hand in behind the light cluster as its a bit tight in there.
There are many places one might find a used Citreon C8 for sale. The first place to check is normally the local Citroen dealer. One can also check classified ads in local papers and online at websites like Autotrader.
you should find it located under the bonnet on the right hand side.
There are 3 places: engine, unser passenger sits with battery and in glove box under cover.
2 places (see manual) 1 in passenger door opening left. other one on engine
Its the service warning light. If you are due your sevice it illuminates. If, however you have just had the service then the mechanic failed to reset the service feature through the dashboard.
