how do you replace the front sway bar likn in a 1999 Grand Marquis?
Do you mean Stabilizer Bar?
It has a sway bar in the front and in the rear. It has a connecting link at each end of each sway bar = 4 total
Sway bar link kits are available at your local auto parts store. They simply bolt in.
Replace the whole sway bar link.
A sway bar link kit is available from your local auto parts store. Remove what is left of the broken link and replace it with the new one. Change them in pairs would be recomended.
yes you should replace both sides at the same time
How do you install a rear sway bar on a 2003 f 150 4 wheel drive
Not hard at all. 6 bolts for the sway bar, and depending on how many links 8 bolts if it is a 4 link, figure 2 bolts per link. ues jack stands to hold the rear axel in place and do it one link at a time. The sway bar cones off in one piece so do that last.

First spray nut with wd40 the sway link is an l shape ball and socket unit with two rubber bushing and nut connected to the top of the frame. The bottom is a stud and nut connected to the end of the sway bar. To remove you must put a wrench on both side to hold in place during removable of the bottom nut and stud , then the top stud with the rubber bushing. The link kit cost $16 each at major parts store i put the car up on ramp and removed and replaced the side that was broken in 20 mins.
They just unbolt at both ends. I have never seen an actual sway bar break, usually just one of the linkages. You can buy a link kit for about $10. It has the bolt, bushings and caps you will need to replace one end.
