Drop the oil pan
The oil is pumped in and out so you have to take it to a shop closed means it sealed not like regular tannys that have an oil pan or drain
It developed an leak and then for whatever reason sealed itself. Replace the oil pressure sending unit.
remove the transmission oil pan and replace the trans filter, reseal and replace the pan fill trans start with four quarts then check and add until full.
You have to remove the trans oil pan to change fluid.
I'm interested in what a "sealed" trans is? If by that you mean, no dipstick, you simply remove the plug where you add the fluid, (on the side of trans) and put your finger in there :)
you dont there's no filter trans flush only
You will need to remove trans. oil pan and replace filter. Also replace seal and change fluid at the same time. www.nationalautoinc.com
It's usually a good rule of thumb that if you replace the trans, you replace the clutch.
manual trans it doesn't have a filter, only the automatics have one.
I am not expert but on the Sequioa, there isn't a dipstick because they use a special tranny oil that you don't change. It is a sealed system that you only change if you notice slippage. Called WS oil.
unscrew all the trans pan bolts and let it leak out. Then remove pan totally. Three screws hold the trans filter. Replace it. Put in new trans filter. You either get a gasket to deal the trans pan or use RTV to seal it. Refill trans - dont over fill. Done
