I am not expert but on the Sequioa, there isn't a dipstick because they use a special tranny oil that you don't change. It is a sealed system that you only change if you notice slippage. Called WS oil.
It requires a special tool (the dipstick) that only a dealer has.
It is where you pull the dipstick from.
It doesn't have a dipstick for the automatic transmission.
There is no dipstick for the trans.
The dipstick is a dealer special tool. You can not check your own transmission fluid.
Auto trans, you add down the dipstick tube.Manual trans, there is a fill plug on the side.Transfer case, there is a fill plug on the back.Auto trans, you add down the dipstick tube.Manual trans, there is a fill plug on the side.Transfer case, there is a fill plug on the back.
Is it a manual transmission or and automatic? Need to know. Auto the dipstick is to the back of the engine looking to the passenger side. Sometimes it will be a Red knob or Black. Manual trans don't have a dipstick just a plug on the side of the trans, about the middle of the trans half way up.
I am assuming you are talking about an auto trans. If so it may not have one. Look at the top of the trans there may be a red cap.
look on cap/dipstick or just use auto trans fluid
There is a dipstick that looks just like the one for the oil.
You don't specify auto or manual. If it is a manual, you remove the fill plug in the case of the gearbox and expect the oil level to be ebbing at the bottom of the fill plug or just below. Around that time the auto transmissions deleted their dipstick. If your's has a dipstick, then with the engine and trans at operating temperature, transmission in Park, and engine running, the oil should be in the "cross hatched" section of the dipstick. If your's is an auto without dipstick, then the procedure is the same as the manual trans.
There isn't one. only an "auto" trans has a dip stick.
